IC contact post/Appointments
(Feel free to use this post to have your character ICly contact Konan about things. This can be done through journals, or through her origami. If she's given your character origami before and they've either guessed or been told that she can use it as an extension of her senses, they can use it.
If you wish to use this post for appointments, by all means. Please put day, time and location in the subject line of your post for a meeting, and please specify journal or origami contact if you're using IC contact. Thanks!)

I dunno! You got any ideas?

[Konan, at least, has experience due to being able to make paper wings. She would hate to see Naruto hurt his wings by accident, especially when they're so tied to life force here.]
I can make some obstacles for you, if you would like.

[He's all fired up now, ready and waiting for whatever she sets up for him.]

The papers assemble themselves in the sky, forming hoops to fly through, and swinging paper pendulums to dodge.]
Try this, Naruto.

[And off he goes! Through a hoop, then a second, coming up to the first pendulum that he doesn't quite pass, instead bashing a wing on it and grabbing hold of it before he ends up falling or something.
Maybe he was being a little too enthusiastic.]
no subject
Is your wing hurt?
[She's visibly concerned by that, largely because of how important wings are to physical health in this place.]
no subject
[Kinda stings actually, it's the first time he's actually done any sort of damage to them.]
You don't have to worry, it'll be okay in a minute, I'm sure!
no subject
All right.
[She still doesn't let him out of the paper harness just yet. She doesn't want him to fall until he's recovered from banging his wing.]
You should be careful with your wings, Naruto. They're as critical to your health as a vital organ.
no subject
What happens if you hurt them, then? Like- if you broke one or something? [People say that need looking after, but he figured that was just because a broken wing would hurt.]
no subject
[There's a reason aiming for the enemy's wings is such a viable tactic. It isn't just to keep them from flying around.]
no subject
[HE SAYS THAT but literally twenty seconds later, once that initial pain has dulled down a little he is back up and out of the sling, wanting to have another go.]
I won't fail this time!
no subject
...just be more careful this time.
[She slows the pendulum just a fraction. It's not enough to be obvious, but perhaps it will be enough to let him get through the obstacle course without getting hurt again.]
no subject
...I did it!
no subject
[She won't even mention slowing it down, not wanting to put a damper on his mood, or make him determined to try going through a faster obstacle course to prove himself.]
I wonder how long this will last.
[She gestures to her own larger wings.]
no subject
[Naruto is still fairly oblivious to what is going on. He doesn't really feel any different, the only noticeable thing has been everyone growing proper wings, and that's a good thing right?]
no subject
I really don't know for sure. This was overnight growth rather than a gradual change, though.
[She knows passion and determination are more Naruto's forte than logic is, but she'll offer her thoughts on the matter nonetheless.]
If it was going to be permanent, logically, the people who were here the longest should have had full sized wings for a while now, but everyone's grew drastically around the same time without growing pains.
no subject
[Naruto logic, but it makes sense to him.]
no subject
[She's not convinced. Especially since the smaller wings hurt on the first day. These ones should have been similarly uncomfortable.]
I'll be more inclined to think the larger wings are here to say if we still have them three weeks from now.

[She has her doubts, but there's so much here that operates outside of conventional logic or what anyone believes possible.]
no subject
Not that I don't expect to see you before three weeks is up but y'know. In case.
