Biography PERSONALITY: Konan is rather Machiavellian. Her ultimate goal is peace and harmony, and she considers herself to be a pillar supporting the bridge to peace. She can be quite loving, dedicated and loyal to the people who matter most to her, and can be compassionate and self-sacrificing even toward people she doesn’t know. However, she can also be very ruthless and calculating when it comes to achieving her goals and protecting her loved ones. She’s a careful strategist who will observe potential threats and what they can do before engaging in combat with a person. And should someone prove to be a threat to her goals and especially her loved ones? She’ll take whatever measures necessary to remove that threat. Konan is quiet, introverted, and doesn’t show her emotions easily, preferring a more controlled and stoic outward demeanour. She tends to prefer quieter activities and interacting one on one or in small groups rather than being the center of attention. While her goals don’t include being in a position of leadership, she is nonetheless a capable leader when the situation calls for it. She is dependable and competent. . IN-GAME HISTORY: Konan was born into the Shikyoin pureblood family. Her parents were not the clan’s successors, but they were the first of their generation to produce offspring. With the family’s involvement in the world of business and philanthropy, Konan was taught to be pragmatic, but also to value peace, compassion and beauty. She became more hardened and ruthless when her parents sacrificed themselves three thousand years ago to turn powerful vampire enemies of the Shikyoin clan human. Two thousand years ago, the vampire noble she’d been in love with for hundreds of years was killed, which further hardened her. Konan worked diligently over the centuries to become powerful enough to defeat anyone who might make trouble for the family and their allies without anyone having to resort to that sort of sacrifice. In doing so, she became the Shikyoin family’s unofficial enforcer, taking care of problems discreetly so that the family could continue to shine as a philanthropic business family in the public eye.
